Trenton Gill is professional football punter who was born and raised in Hillsborough, North Carolina. He attended and played football at Cedar Ridge High School. He then played college football at NC State, where he earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2021 and set a school record with a 47.6-yard punting average in 2019 . Gill was selected by the Chicago Bears as the 255th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He played two seasons with the Bears before brief stints with the Denver Broncos and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2024 .
